Longevity Scripts is seeking a Pharmacy Data Entry Technician for its pharmacy located in Orlando, Florida.
About the role
This position is responsible for receiving, accurately transcribing, and entering prescriptions into the pharmacy system with both speed and accuracy.
Schedule
11:30am–8:00pm with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Enter specific orders, patient data, allergies, and drug interactions into the pharmacy system accurately and timely.
- Research, follow up, and troubleshoot prescription/patient data entry discrepancies.
- Resolve discrepancies in orders with customers, including illegible prescriptions or other potential medication concerns.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate information processing.
Requirements
- Current State Pharmacy Technician license and certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Comprehensive understanding of Brand vs. Generic medications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Drug Classes and Medication Classification.
- Understanding of Medical Terminology.
- Math skills with an emphasis on calculations as well as analytical skills.
- Comprehensive computer knowledge and skills.
- Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.

- Frameworks experience required.
