Pharmacy Compliance Assistant- Full-Time, Rotate
About the role
Join a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as a Pharmacy Compliance Assistant. You will work under the general direction of the regulatory compliance team within the pharmacy department.
Responsibilities
- Aids pharmacy managers with daily tasks related to regulatory compliance
- Performs cleaning duties for various pharmacy department needs, including carousels, omnicells, cleanrooms, and central pharmacy areas
- Aids in audits and training of employee processes to improve quality
- Trains new employees and mentors as requested
- Completes and passes required annual competencies in a timely manner
- Complies with all departmental, hospital, and regulatory agency policies
- Performs environmental monitoring and aseptic technique evaluations as needed
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Certification as Pharmacy Technician
- Experience in a hospital, compounding, or retail pharmacy setting
- Experience in document management or regulatory compliance
- Experience in overseeing the work of others and directing quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or other advanced degree preferred
Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Pay

Schedule
Rotating shift, approximately 40 hours per week, with no on-call shifts. Scheduled to work 100% at the Hyde Park Campus, Monday through Friday.
