Responsibilities

• Comply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity
• Create a welcoming environment for customers
• Maintain departmental standards including clean and organized work stations and customer waiting areas
• Manage inventory using computerized systems
• Answer phone calls and triage inquiries
• Promote sales and services to customers and store associates
• Follow guidelines on accepting and tendering vendor coupons, limits on cash shortages and company shrink guidelines
• Operate cash registers and follow cashier handling policies to prevent loss
• Provide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently performing all steps of release to patient and product dispensing, if allowable by state law
• Adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the company’s policies regarding the same

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Previous comparable experience is desired
• Experience with customer service, including registries, phone, and cashier
• Experience with inventory control in a retail environment
