Pharmacy Clerk

Job Summary

Aid pharmacy staff in prescription triaging, prescription delivery, and cashier duties. Work under pharmacist supervision and follow standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the triaging of incoming prescriptions
• Verify and gather necessary patient information
• Assess workload, establish pick-up times, and process prescriptions
• Deliver prescriptions to patients, obtain signatures, and perform cash register duties
• Provide quality customer service
• Maintain a professional environment through housekeeping duties
• Keep confidential patient information
• Comply with state and federal requirements
• Complete mandatory training programs
• Perform other clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• AS Degree preferred
• Registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician (preferred)
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience (preferred)

Compensation

$16.00 - 17.60 per hour. Final offer determined by relevant skills, experience, and education.
