Job Summary
Aid pharmacy staff in prescription triaging, delivery, and cashier duties. Work under pharmacist supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist in prescription triaging and verification
- Gather and verify patient information
- Assess workload and manage prescription queues
- Deliver prescriptions to patients and obtain signatures
- Perform cash register duties
- Provide quality customer service
- Maintain a professional environment through housekeeping
- Keep confidential patient information
- Comply with state and federal employment requirements
- Complete mandatory training programs
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- AS Degree or higher preferred
- Preferred hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- Must be registered with the State of Vermont as a Pharmacy Technician
Compensation
$16.00 - 17.60 per hour. Final offer determined by relevant skills, experience, and education.
