Overview

Responsibilities

• Absorb and direct a variety of duties, often switching between tasks.
• Work independently and recognize patient confidentiality rights.
• Communicate effectively and convey empathy and compassion.
• Support hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience required. Computer and Point-of-Sale experience preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Sufficient auditory ability, clear and effective communication, visual acuity, tactile perception, motor coordination, occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, walking, standing, lifting to 50 pounds independently, pushing, pulling, carrying, or repositioning objects or patients weighing up to 25 pounds, occasional lifting or transferring of individuals weighing over 100 pounds, frequent sitting, working in a healthcare environment with variable indoor temperatures, exposure to infectious and contagious diseases, hazardous materials, and medical equipment, responding quickly to changing circumstances, and dealing with multiple simultaneous demands and varying levels of noise.
