Key Responsibilities
- Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening and/or closing.
- Greet customers, answer calls, and field patient questions with a positive attitude.
- Collect payment and insurance information.
- Close and count down registers, and deposit money at the end of the day.
- Keep front end shelves organized and clean, along with the rest of the pharmacy.
- Make regular OTC inventory checks and order merchandise.
- Able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Move, lift, carry and place merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Frequent repetitive motion with hand(s) and arm(s), such as grasping, gripping and turning.
- Stand and/or walk frequently throughout work shift.
- Visually locate merchandise and other objects, as well as verify information, often in small print.
Experience or Requirements
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proven communication and customer service skills
- Strong math skills required
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Reliable with a keen eye for detail
