Pharmacy Buyer

Responsibilities

• Ordering of pharmaceuticals and supplies
• Receiving of orders into various information systems
• Purchase order creation
• Processing of invoices for payment
• Establishment and maintenance of par levels
• Work with vendors and suppliers regarding contract negotiation and compliance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in Pharmacy operations and purchasing required.
• 2 years of experience in Business skills, contract management, inventory control, cost allocation preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office and specific Pharmacy purchasing software preferred.
