Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm
- Department hours are 7am-7:00pm
- May alter due to coverage issues
- Extended hours and occasional weekend shifts may occur at the end of the billing cycle
Location
- Onsite at a closed-door pharmacy in Orlando, FL
Essential Job Functions
- Make collection calls for outstanding invoices
- Absorb and communicate information to Business Manager for review
- Establish and maintain relationships with facilities for billing, patient setup, and collections
- Follow up on rejected claims and gather accurate insurance information
- Assist Business Manager with credit card payments, statement inquiries, audits, and collections
- Collaborate with co-workers to meet department deadlines

Education and/or Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Skills and Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
- Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
- Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
- Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate
