Mixlab, the fast-growing veterinary compounding pharmacy, is seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Associate to join our New York team. This part-time role supports our operations to ensure dependable service for customers and veterinarians.
About the role
You will be an integral part of our Pharmacy operations, helping to maintain smooth workflows and organization while fulfilling orders and maintaining cleanliness and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Label packages with accurate delivery information and categorize them appropriately
- Construct, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools
- Remove defective products or materials, placing them in specified areas for handling
- Assemble and fulfill daily orders including medications, toys, pet notes, how-to-use cards, and other customer communications
- Fill out packing and order forms with relevant shipping information
- Keep packing materials neat and organized
- Perform other related duties and deliver orders as needed
- Set up and restock lab and hood stations with necessary ingredients and equipment
- Remove and wash used equipment
- Review and remove expired medications under Pharmacist supervision
- Wipe down and organize ingredient containers
- Ensure organization and cleanliness around the garbing cart and sinks
- Document inventory intake and ensure stock availability of ingredients and equipment
- Perform additional cleaning and stocking tasks, including stocking inventory, cleaning floors, cleaning inside hoods per USP 795 and USP 800 guidelines, and maintaining and documenting daily and monthly cleaning tasks
- Help maintain and move lab equipment as needed
- Sort and file records
- Comply with Pharmacy procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures

- Passion for pets and their people
- Ability to move, lift, or carry up to fifty (50) pounds
Pay
$22–23 per hour, depending on individual qualifications, experience, and skillset.
Schedule
- Part-time: 21 hours per week
- Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (10:30 PM – 6:00 AM)
- One Saturday per month (10:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
