Pharmacy Assistant - Per Diem

Responsibilities

• Assists the pharmacist in replenishing floor stock.
• Assists the pharmacist in delivering medications to patient care areas.
• Assists the pharmacist with the receipt and stocking of medication deliveries.
• Delivers medication carts to patient care areas.
• Assists the pharmacist in the maintenance of adequate drug supplies in filling stations and notifies appropriate departmental personnel regarding needed supplies.
• Affirms that filling stations are maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
• Lifts a minimum of 10 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 40 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
• Adheres to the standards identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Previous hospital experience.
• Licenses and Certifications Required: Pharmacy Technician License.

Pay

Compensation
Minimum rate of $18.65 Hourly

The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.
