Pharmacy Analytics Intern Fall 2026 (CMH Health)
About the role
The CMH Health Practice at Milliman is seeking a Pharmacy Analytics Intern to join their team from September to December 2026. This is a full-time, temporary internship offering practical, real-world experience in a fast-growing area of the health consulting practice.
Responsibilities
- Learn about qualitative and financial evaluations of PBM contracts, including pricing and fee schedules.
- Aid in developing models to conduct detailed analyses of pharmacy data, including pharmacy claims, eligibility data, etc.
- Contribute to acquiring, standardizing, and merging various data sets to provide summarized reports.
- Be involved in drafting proposals, presentations, exhibits, RFPs, and reports.
- Work independently and collaboratively on consulting activities including pricing, reserving, financial projections, model development, forecasting, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Contribute to technical work, which may include analyzing pharmacy financial data.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in math, finance, pharmacy, computer science, economics, statistics or related major with quantitative course work.
- Recent graduates will also be considered.
- Prior experience working with U.S. healthcare claims is preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmacy reimbursement in the United States.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from September to December 2026.
- Strong technical skills, to include experience and proficiency with Microsoft office tools such as (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay
The overall salary range for this role is $19.00 - $43.00 per hour. For candidates residing in: Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $21.00 - $43.00. All other locations the salary range is $19.00 - $35.00.
Schedule
This is a full-time, temporary internship position, which requires 40 hours per week. This position is from September to December 2026 with the opportunity to extend based on performance.
