Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and appropriateness of medication therapy through order verification, dispensing, home medication reconciliation, chart review, and dose/therapy adjustment as applicable.
• Document medication-related interventions in medical record.
• Provide clinical support to practitioners.
• Make recommendations and encourage safe and cost-effective pharmacotherapy for patients through multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Oversee the medication dispensing process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications to patients. This includes supervision of pharmacy technicians and/or interns.
• Perform sterile compounding activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• College graduate, R.Ph. (MTS Certified) or PharmD.
• Licensed/Registered Pharmacist with Missouri Board of Pharmacy required.
• Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette, and attention to detail are required.
• BLS, required.
