Pharmacist - PRN

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications by reading medication orders and prescriptions.
• Perform data entry of prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, counting medications, and labeling prescription bottles.
• Complete final verification of prescriptions.
• Anticipate needed medications and supplies by placing and expediting orders, verifying receipts, and removing outdated drugs.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Provide counseling to patients on their prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) medications.

Requirements

• Active Ohio Pharmacy License.
• Immunization Certification by an accredited organization.
• Pharm. D. or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1 to 2 years of experience.
