Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
- Current registered pharmacist in the state of Florida.
- Board certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties necessary to provide effective daily operation of all departmental services and programs, including compounding, labeling, and dispensing of medication and IV admixtures.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians in all work areas.
- Provide clinical services to enhance medication administration and therapeutic outcomes.
- Provide clinical drug information to meet the needs of the healthcare staff.
- Participate in appropriate committees.
- Provide support for department education including residents, interns, and students.
- Up to 25% variable staff rotation to meet department needs, including evenings and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Requires sitting for long periods, stooping, bending, standing, and stretching.
- Must have manual dexterity for typing and computer data entry.

- Ability to push/pull up to 40 lbs., carry and lift up to 20 lbs.
Threshold Requirements
- Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service, and health requirements, including attendance at new employee orientation.
- TB/PPD Surveillance Program.
- Maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certification(s).
