Pharmacist Per Diem Outpatient
About the role
The Pharmacist at MultiCare ensures prompt and accurate pharmaceutical care services for patients, nurses, and physicians. This role offers the opportunity to apply knowledge and expertise towards supporting quality health services and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Dispense medications to patients and interpret IV admixture orders
- Prepare primary IV/solutions and nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations when required
- Maintain appropriate records
- Supervise support personnel and assume responsibility for final check of all completed work
- Assist in the inspection of all pharmaceutical supplies on all services
- Provide for the safe and accurate provision of pharmaceutical care services
Requirements
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in settings such as hospital, retail, clinic or other
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $72.97 - $98.05 USD, influenced by factors such as skill set, years of experience, and certifications/education.
