Pharmacist - Part-Time

About the role

The Pharmacist delivers safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing and monitoring evidence-based care plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care, including reviewing medication profiles, interpreting orders, and ensuring appropriateness of therapy.
• Collaborate with medical staff, advising on drug therapy issues, monitoring lab results, and suggesting formulary alternatives.
• Educate healthcare professionals, counsel patients on discharge medications, and make rounds with medical teams.
• Calculate drug dosages, verify orders, and prepare compounded medications using sterile techniques.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, technicians, and interns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate resources, maintain stock levels, and assist in policy review and departmental improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required), Master's preferred.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
