Pharmacist - Part Time

About the role

Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. As a Pharmacist, you will play a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Having a working knowledge of all areas of pharmaceutical services including drug distribution systems, central operations, and IV admixtures.
• Providing clinical support of the hospital pharmacy function in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintaining adequate drug supplies at the pharmacy at all times.
• Correctly informing and instructing patients on any drugs to be used after discharge.
• Developing and participating in new employee training and education programs.
• Participating in patient drug therapy monitoring.
• Promoting an environment of continuous quality improvement.

Requirements

• Requires successful completion of all educational requirements as mandated for state licensure.
• Current State licensure required.
• BLS if required by State.

Qualifications

• Pharm D or BS Pharm plus advanced degree or completion of hospital pharmacy residency preferred.

Skills

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical services.
• Ability to provide clinical support in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Experience with drug distribution systems and IV admixtures.
• Knowledge of patient drug therapy monitoring.

Pay

$50-$65 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Part Time, Flexible Schedule with on-call weekend hours.
