About the role
Consonus Pharmacy is a closed-door long-term care pharmacy specializing in the needs of nursing facilities, assisted living residents, and their caregivers. We are currently hiring a Pharmacist to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with appropriate Pharmacy laws and standards of practice
- Supervising pharmacy technicians as needed
- Conducting medication assessments, paperwork for drug monitoring
- Coordinating deliveries to ensure timely arrival of medication & supplies
- Answering facility’s drug-related questions/concerns, assisting in solving problems
- Assistance in drug procurement; processing orders
- Maintaining awareness of current controlled substance laws and regulations, along with Consonus Pharmacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current license in State(s) practicing
- Strong clinical and IV skills as a Pharmacist are required
- One year pharmacist experience
