Pharmacist Opportunities – ...
About the Role
Through an innovative pharmacy program, St. Matthews Pharmacy removes barriers to treatment and delivers life‑saving services and medications to patients in a stigma‑free environment. The company is driven by a higher purpose—to make a difference in the lives of those they serve, especially individuals affected by addiction. As a leader in quality standards, St. Matthews Pharmacy provides solutions for payers, clinicians, and organizations involved with substance use disorder, offering access to all FDA‑approved medications for substance use disorder through full‑service, high‑touch pharmacies.
Opportunities Available
Specialty Pharmacy
The Specialty Pharmacy team supports patients managing complex and chronic conditions, collaborating with providers, clinical teams, and pharmacy staff to coordinate high‑quality specialty pharmacy services. Responsibilities include medication management, patient and provider support, and navigating the unique requirements associated with specialty medications. Previous specialty pharmacy experience is valuable but not required; training will be provided for an experienced pharmacist with strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a desire to learn specialty pharmacy.
Community Pharmacy
The Community Pharmacy team provides comprehensive pharmacy services in a fast‑paced, relationship‑focused environment. A significant portion of the work supports mental and behavioral health and addiction treatment and recovery, allowing pharmacists to develop strong relationships with providers, treatment organizations, and the communities they serve. This model emphasizes relationships, continuity of care, collaboration, and service rather than the traditional large‑chain retail environment.
