About the Company
Akina Pharmacy is a nationally-accredited specialty compounding pharmacy on a mission to enrich lives through compounded medicine. - Called To Serve: We act for the greater good, putting what is best for the company, our team, and our customers ahead of personal comfort or gain. We go the extra mile for others.
- Total Ownership: We take full responsibility for our work, decisions, and results. We don't wait for permission or instructions; we initiate and drive outcomes.
- Open and Honest: We listen and seek to understand feedback, new ideas, and perspectives that challenge our own. We speak the truth directly and clearly, hiding nothing and removing all politics from our communication.
About the Role
The Pharmacist – Non-Sterile Compounding Supervisor plays a critical role at Akina Pharmacy. The individual is a licensed pharmacist and working supervisor responsible for directly leading, coaching, and holding accountable the non-sterile compounding technician team. In addition to people-management responsibilities, this role provides pharmacist coverage by performing non-sterile compounding and verifying assigned compounding logs in accordance with applicable standards and company policies. The Supervisor serves as the primary pharmacist-level escalation point for technician performance, attendance, conduct, communication, and practice concerns. This position partners with the Production Pharmacist and Production Manager. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
