Pharmacist -NICU Clinical Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Optimal patient care outcomes from drug therapy are ensured through clinical pharmacy services.
• Demonstrates clinical competence as required by program needs.
• Performs therapeutic drug monitoring, assessing therapeutic appropriateness, duplication, route of administration, patient compliance, and drug interactions.
• Provides oral and written consultations on drug therapy selection and management.
• Administers medical-staff approved collaborative drug therapy protocols.
• Develops patient-specific drug therapy management plans and therapy endpoints.
• Documents medication-related care in patient’s medical record.
• Maintains accurate and efficient use of pharmacy computer systems.
• Compounds and prepares ordered pharmaceuticals as appropriate.
• Fills outpatient prescriptions as required.
• Maintains clean, safe, and orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) for applicable state required.
• A working knowledge of pharmacy equipment.
• ACLS and/or PALS required within three months of hire.

Pay

USD $85.22 - USD $96.41 /Hr.
