Responsibilities
- Document and complete billing processes for pharmacist activities.
- Collaborate in protocol-driven practices and/or collaborative practice agreements as applicable.
- Contribute to quality improvement and resource management projects.
- Support research initiatives within the department and clinics.
- Participate in precepting activities for students and residents.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and patient safety efforts.
- Aid in other departmental projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with Mayo Clinic Specialty Pharmacy, Infusion Therapy Center, and insurance prior authorization teams.
Qualifications
- Wisconsin Pharmacist License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin.
- Minnnesota Pharmacist License: Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in Minnesota.
- Educational Requirements: Must have a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with at least 10 years of relevant experience if holding a Bachelor’s degree.
- Medication Therapy Management (MTM): If limited experience in Medication Management Ambulatory Care, completion of an accredited MTM certificate program is required within 12 months of hire.
- Mnnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP): Must be registered or eligible to be a registered MMS/MTM provider through Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP).
