Pharmacist (Mail Order)
About the role
Vetsource is seeking a Clinical Fulfillment Pharmacist to verify the accuracy of medications and oversee dispensing activities in our Vetsource Home Delivery Pharmacy. This is a full-time, onsite position in McDonough, GA, with flexible scheduling including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy and validity of medications packaged in compliance packaging
- Verify the work of pharmacy technicians and interns, including the accuracy of orders being shipped to pet owners (product scan and label review)
- Oversee the dispensing activities of pharmacy technicians as required by law
- Assist with other projects related to the first verification team (V1), including but not limited to: basic electronic prescription verification, verbal telephone orders, order clarifications
Requirements
- 1+ year working as a licensed pharmacist
- Current valid pharmacist license in the state of Georgia
- B.S. or PharmD in Pharmacy
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Dispensing skills: accurate, efficient, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen and communicate information
- Experienced with technology including email, Slack, and GSuite
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn how to navigate new programs quickly
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience working in a high volume dispensing environment
- Knowledge of veterinary pharmacy
- Experience in mail-order pharmacy
- Experience working with automation in a pharmacy setting

Pay Range
Pay range (US based applicants): $60.00 - $63.00 / hour
