Pharmacist - Local Specialty

Role Summary: Oversees daily pharmacy operations, ensuring workflow efficiency, clinical management, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, sales, expense control, and inventory management. Focuses on accurate prescription filling, delivering exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and partners, and safeguarding department assets. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience: Ensures courteous, efficient service and responds to inquiries and complaints to maintain a positive department image.Operations: Manages daily pharmacy activities, enhances prescription volume, sales, and profit, reports errors, complies with legal and policy requirements, and maintains safety and cleanliness standards.Inventory & Financial Control: Oversees inventory, cash management, and third-party billing to minimize losses and resolve payment issues.Team Supervision: Supervises staff, ensures proper licensure, training, and adherence to policies, and promotes performance standards.Training & Development: Self-evaluates, stays updated on industry developments, and applies new knowledge to improve practices.Communications: Builds relationships with healthcare professionals and collaborates with pharmacy staff. Qualifications: BS or PharmD degree, current pharmacist license, at least 1 year of pharmacy experience, and specialized training for clinical services. Preferred experience includes prior retail pharmacy work and high performance reviews.
