Pharmacist - Inpatient Nightshift

About the role

Renown Health is seeking a pharmacist to join their inpatient pharmacy graveyard team. This position is ideal for those starting their career in inpatient or clinical pharmacy or those who enjoy working nights with a week-on, week-off schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work well with a team of other pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to provide quality drug distribution and clinical care for patients at Renown Health.
• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Completion of Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an ACPE accredited pharmacy program or 10 years of experience in acute care pharmacy is required.
• Completion of a Pharmacy Residency or equivalent training program in clinical pharmacy is preferred.
• Experience: Preference will be given to applicants with previous hospital pharmacy experience.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Pharmacist license.
• Healthcare BLS within the first 90 days of employment is required for all locations.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within the first 90 days of employment is required for location 200211, 200212 and 400211.

Qualifications

• Education: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English.
• Experience: Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
