About the role

The Pharmacist in Charge, Fulfillment Center at Walgreens is responsible for leading, mentoring, and coaching a team in a closed-door pharmacy setting. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing daily operations, and facilitating continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and company policies.
• Oversee security protocols to protect patient privacy according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain pharmacy records and follow laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practice.
• Manage daily operations, supervise team members, and ensure adherence to quality and deadline requirements.
• Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying areas for enhancement and recommending improvements.
• Complete continuing education credits to maintain pharmacy licensure.
• Lead team meetings, provide feedback, and develop employees.

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with at least 1 year of experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in multiple states or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data to drive improvement.
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and fostering a team environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to work various hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience preferred.
• PROMISE, INTERCOM, and PLUS computing systems and related functions.
• Micro fulfillment Center leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with project management.
