Job Summary

A closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy serving assisted living facilities in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to join their team. This role requires expertise in LTC pharmacy operations, and for the right candidate, there is an opportunity for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) position.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the dispensing of medications for LTC patients in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure accuracy in prescription processing and medication management.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and facility staff to optimize patient care.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff.
• Assist in inventory management and quality assurance programs.
• Conduct medication reconciliation for patients transitioning between different levels of care, such as SNF and acute care settings.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and staff.

• Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing and patient interactions in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of California (active and in good standing).
• Experience in a closed-door LTC pharmacy is required.
• Proficiency with FrameworkLTC software is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of regulations affecting LTC pharmacy operations.
• Ability to lead, manage, and optimize pharmacy workflow.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$75 - $95 / hr.
