Pharmacist in Charge

About the role

AristaCare Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy team in Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing medication management, ensuring patient safety, and providing clinical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the pharmacy including inventory management and staff scheduling
• Provide clinical oversight and support to pharmacy technicians and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage medication reconciliation and ensure accurate dosing and administration
• Participate in continuing education programs to maintain certification and stay current with industry standards

Requirements

• Current NC Pharmacy License
• At least 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in a healthcare setting
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of specialty medications and infusion therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
