About the role
Arc is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and mission-driven full-time Pharmacist in Charge to lead our pharmacy operations. As a key clinical and operational leader within our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you will oversee pharmacy services, ensure regulatory compliance, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all pharmacy and clinical services.
- Ensure compliance with state pharmacy board regulations, DEA requirements, HRSA guidelines, and 340B program standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for accurately filling prescriptions issued by providers in a safe, efficient, and timely manner in accordance with all State and Federal laws.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of the 340B program, sliding fee scale, and referral prescriptions.
- Advocate for the pharmacy and work to ensure integration of pharmacy services and expertise into the organization as a whole.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff (pharmacist, technicians, and support staff).
- Collaborate with physician and non-physician providers on best prescribing practices, drug alternatives, best pricing options, and Medication assistance program information.
- Refill prescriptions, administer medications, and make referrals.
- Perform other duties needed for patient care.
Requirements
- Current Pharmacy license in the State of Kansas.
- 3+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, quality assurance, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Bilingualism, strong computer skills, and experience with electronic medical records are a plus.
