Pharmacist-Immunization Support

About the role

In this role as an Immunization Support Pharmacist, you will only be scheduled to work on an as-needed, temporary basis to support delivering vaccines and related activities based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling on prescriptions and immunizations; relay pertinent information regarding products
• Deliver immunizations with high standards and incredible customer service
• Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
• Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations; ensure company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures are followed
• Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business

Requirements

• Pharmacist State License
• Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows-based software

Qualifications

Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
