Pharmacist III

Job Requirements

• Minimum Education: B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm D. or Master of Pharmacy
• Minimum Work Experience: Three years as a licensed pharmacist with enhanced clinical responsibilities
• Required Licenses/Certifications:
  • Active registration as a licensed pharmacist in the state of Texas
  • Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) or specialty certification in area related to assigned duties
  • TSBP Preceptor required within 12 months of hire
• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Able to perform all medication consults including total parenteral nutrition
  • Absorb and assist with pharmacy students and pharmacy practice residents
  • Provide internal and external education
  • Perform medication/drug use evaluation
  • Present data/repots at various committees
  • Able to effectively direct and/or supervise personnel as appropriate
  • Able to handle confidential information
  • Able to maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times
  • Able to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
