Pharmacist - Healthcare Pharmacy

Role Overview

Provides expert review and assessment of medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related issues. Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal patient care. Manages drug therapy protocols within a multidisciplinary team, compounds and dispenses medications, and offers drug-related information. Supervises pharmacy support staff to ensure safety and accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Montana Pharmacist License required upon hire
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or PharmD in Pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, and outpatient anticoagulation experience

Key Duties

• Review and evaluate medication orders for appropriateness
• Coordinate with healthcare team to optimize drug therapy
• Dispense medications accurately and supervise pharmacy support personnel
• Provide drug therapy information and resolve medication-related problems

Pay

$53.95 to $85.18 per hour, plus potential additional incentives.
