About Position
Directs all activities of pharmacy department, insures that all regulations of the N.C. Board of Pharmacy are fulfilled, supervises all pharmacy technicians, directs all patient-pharmacy interactions, participates in all health center meetings as pharmacy representative
Work Location: FLOAT (Travel to all PHS Sites as needed)
Schedule: Monday - Friday: Times may vary
Required Travel: This position is a travel based role. Going to all PHS sites as needed. Will be able to submit travel reimbursement.
Duties/Responsibilities
Staff pharmacist working at all locations.
Supervise medication dispensing.
Provide patient and provider consultation.
Supervise pharmacy technicians, supervise ordering process.
Work with Patient Assistance programs.
Provide daily reports.
- Pfizer Share the Care UST reports,
- Health and Wellness grant work,
- Medicare Part D work,
- P&T Committee work,
- general pharmacist responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of B.S. Pharmacy
- Experience: Appropriate for licensure in North Carolina
- Certification: Licensed in North Carolina by N.C. Board of Pharmacy
- Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Microsoft Office, email/internet and ability to learn other healthcare related software. Normal pharmacy computer programs, Electronic Health Records.
- Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range
$119,690.00 - $160,854.00 (commensurate with years of experience)
