Responsibilities
- Fills and dispenses medication orders.
- Maintains standards and translates policies into daily operations.
- Provides information on medication therapy and drug-related topics to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Schedules and organizes work for supportive personnel and pharmacists.
- Optimizes patient medication therapy through comprehensive clinical pharmacy services.
- Collaborates with the health care team to achieve goals.
- May specialize in areas such as infectious disease, oncology, cardiovascular, medication safety, and Pharmacoeconomics.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Prioritization: Preferred: 1+ years experience as a registered pharmacist in a hospital setting.
- Certification/License/Registry: Current Florida pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or enrollment in an advanced degree program.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
