Pharmacist - Chemotherapy Rx

Role Overview Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care to oncology patients as a key clinical expert within a multidisciplinary team. Supports specialty care across areas such as Urology, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Research. Acts as a collaborative partner in developing and managing treatment plans, ensuring safe and effective medication use. Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Services: Deliver direct patient care, optimize medication therapy, determine dosing, monitor adverse effects, and support clinical trials. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient-centered care.Dispensing & Order Fulfillment: Interpret medication orders, screen for interactions, and accurately dispense medications, including controlled substances.Operational & Leadership: Supervise pharmacy technicians, assist in staff training, represent the pharmacy on committees, and support research activities. Qualifications & Skills Licensed Pharmacist (Illinois)Bachelor's Degree in PharmacyClinical experience in pharmacy practiceStrong patient care, collaboration, and medication management skills
