About the role

Willis-Knighton is a not-for-profit health system with multiple facilities including acute care hospitals, surgery centers, and a rehabilitation center. Four of their five acute care facilities have pharmacies open 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compounds, intravenous admixtures, irrigation solutions, and oral medications according to accepted pharmacy practice and state and federal laws.
• Work independently as an accountable professional for both pharmaceutical and clinical services.
• Participate in an individualized orientation program tailored to personal needs.
• Work variable 8-hour shifts across different pharmacy facilities.

Requirements

• Louisiana licensure or eligibility required for employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited pharmacy program.
• Current active license to practice pharmacy in Louisiana.
