About the role

As a Walgreens Pharmacist, you will serve as a medication expert and trusted healthcare provider, delivering patient-focused care and reshaping the future of pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting, including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance

Pay

Hourly salary range: $60.90 - $82.30, depending on geography, skills, abilities, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
