Responsibilities

• Reviewing and verifying medication orders
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize medication therapy
• Supporting medication safety initiatives and antimicrobial stewardship efforts
• Partnering with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient daily operations
• Maintaining compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and pharmacy best practices

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and thrive in a dynamic hospital environment
• Experience with medication verification, dispensing, and electronic health record systems
• Commitment to continuous learning, evidence-based practice, and the highest ethical standards
• Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure
• Hospital or health-system pharmacy experience preferred
