Pharmacist

About the role

The Staff Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, administering immunizations, and ensuring medication safety and confidentiality. They serve as community healthcare leaders, advocating for patient wellness and building relationships with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and dispense prescriptions, counseling patients on medication use and health needs.
• Administer immunizations and support health programs.
• Maintain compliance with legal, safety, and company policies, including documentation and controlled substance management.
• Lead customer service efforts, resolving concerns and providing expert guidance.
• Monitor community health trends and participate in outreach and wellness events.
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory control, cost savings, and compliance initiatives.
• Model and enforce standards of quality, safety, and ethical behavior within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, PharmD, or equivalent (NABP).
• Active pharmacy license.
• Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program.
• Strong communication, clinical, and community engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
