Pharmacist

About the role

The role is a 13-week contract position in Sahuarita, AZ, scheduled Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The pay rate is $2200 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide medication, therapeutic guidance, and real-time consults to interdisciplinary teams
• Support code blue events by providing immediate medication recommendations and clinical expertise
• Answer inquiries from physicians and nursing staff and complete patient consults as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Accepted Arizona Pharmacy License (AZ State Board)
• ACLS & BLS certifications
• Cerner and Omnicell experience
• Ability to attend code blues and provide medication recommendations
• Ability to answer provider/nurse questions and complete consults
• At least 1 year of recent hospital experience

Qualifications

• Board Certification and/or Accredited Pharmacy Residency preferred
• Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
