Essential Job Functions
- Affords assistance with policy and procedures for pharmacy services.
- Might be required to work in the hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Affords assistance with personnel management and associated training and competencies.
- Affords oversight of remote pharmacy services.
- Affords assistance with formulary management including: Pharmacy contract compliance, interchanges, shortage management.
- Affords delegated management of formulary from the medical staff and all application system interdependencies including management of the pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
- Affords assistance with inventory management including: Distribution system for the enterprise Pyxis system maintenance, Controlled substance inventory, Inventory optimization additions/delitions, Outdates/returns, Purchasing, Inter-department and inter-pharmacy sales, Regional support (e.g. EMS), Clinic medication orders.
- Fulfills hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens.
- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times.
- Fulfills HIPAA regulations and policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Science.
- IDaho Pharmaceutical License, required.
- 3-5 years' experience, preferred.
