Duties
- Oversight and compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Management of day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow.
- Exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
- Mentorship and management of team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc).
- Implementation of quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
- Collaboration with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Support of business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
- Maintenance of accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
- Ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Washington Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.
