Duties

  • Oversight and compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Management of day-to-day pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow.
  • Exceptional patient care through accurate dispensing, counselling, and medication management.
  • Mentorship and management of team members (pharmacist, technicians, interns, etc).
  • Implementation of quality assurance, safety, and performance improvement programs.
  • Collaboration with physicians, family nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Support of business growth through effective management of pharmacy services, including immunizations and clinical programs.
  • Maintenance of accurate and timely documentation for audits, inspections, and internal reporting.
  • Ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently, profitably, and in line with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Washington Board of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of 1 year of community or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmacy regulations and insurance billing.
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development.
