About the role

Health Center Inc. (also known as The New York Hotel Trades Council and Hotel Association of NYC, Inc Employee Benefit Funds) is an NYC-based healthcare organization with ambulatory care facilities staffed by a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services. We offer Primary Care, Dental, Radiological, Vision, Mental Health, and other Specialist services at our facilities at no charge to our Union members, removing the financial roadblock that many people face when trying to obtain quality medical care. We are seeking a Pharmacist for our Queens location to help in our mission of providing top-notch pharmaceutical services to our Union members. It's an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to make an impact in under-represented communities with a stable work schedule (no overnight shifts).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or oversees the preparation and dispensing of medications to patients.
• Counsels patients and/or medical practitioners on drug indications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects; provides other drug and pharmaceutical information as appropriate.
• Provides guidance to pharmacy support staff and monitors performance.
• Follows established policies and procedures and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D.
• 1–2 years of work experience in retail pharmacy or ambulatory care pharmacy is required.
• New York State licensed pharmacist.
• Must have immunization privilege in New York State.

$90,000–$115,000
