Pharmacist

About the role

Performs and supervises the daily operations of the department. Provides other hospital and medical staff involved with the preparation and dispensing of drugs with drug information and other pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Provides drug information and other pharmaceutical services to hospital and medical staff
• Works .8 FTE; Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist, Monday-Friday days/evenings
• Cross trained in the retail pharmacy to cover critical open shifts
• Covers critical open overnight shifts due to PTO or leave of absence, with appropriate notice

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy with either a Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree
• Current Minnesota licensed pharmacist
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
• Proficient in the English language
• Demonstrated ability to manage people and time effectively
• Good attention to detail and ability to implement policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Health system pharmacy experience preferred
