About the role
A Staff Pharmacist provides patient-centered care, counseling, prescription processing, immunizations, and community outreach. They serve as a community leader, utilizing clinical knowledge to advocate for wellness and build relationships with diverse patients. The role involves ensuring accurate medication dispensing, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting compliance with legal and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including counseling, prescription processing, and immunizations.
- Engage in community outreach, Wellness Days, and health initiatives to promote wellness.
- Model excellent customer service, resolve concerns, and guide pharmacy staff.
- Maintain compliance with safety, legal, and company policies, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Utilize data and community insights to improve service delivery and address health concerns.
- Demonstrate professional judgment, adaptability, and effective communication to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, with a valid pharmacy license.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program.
