Pharmacist

About the Role

As a Per Diem Pharmacist with Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pharmacy department. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, monitoring inventory, and providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, and you will be expected to maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in all areas of pharmacy practice.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide patient counseling
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory management
• Participate in pharmacy operations and provide support to other areas of the hospital as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and pharmacy activities
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and patient care

Schedule

Per Diem including Fridays and Saturdays 7a-3p, with additional shifts available as needed.

Requirements

• License to practice as a Pharmacist in New York State
• Bachelor's Degree or PharmD in Pharmacy from an ACPE accredited institution
• Experience within the hospital environment strongly preferred
