Pharmacist
Job Summary
Our staff pharmacists are responsible for interpreting and evaluating provider orders for safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy for patients at Bartlett Regional Hospital. Pharmacists are responsible for the accuracy of drug dispensing, monitoring of drug therapy, communicating with providers involved in the care of patients, participating in assuring adherence to BRH drug use policy, and providing pharmacotherapy education and information for physicians, nurses, and patients. The pharmacist is also responsible for clinical projects and participates in committee work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Pharmacy Degree (Bachelor's or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in hospital pharmacy practice or completion of a pharmacy practice residency in a hospital setting is preferred.
Licenses: State of Alaska Pharmacist License in good standing

Pay
This position starts at $65.02 per hour. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
