How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Ensure safe and effective medication management
• Review, verify, compounding, dispensing, and overseeing appropriate selection, dosing, and administration of medications
• Identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems; recommend formulary alternatives; and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to optimize patient care
• Supervise and support pharmacy technical personnel in medication preparation, maintenance, and distribution processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide drug information, patient counseling, and education to medical staff and patients; support academic initiatives as a preceptor and provide coverage across pharmacy operations as needed

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
