Pharmacist 9AM - 5:30PM

About the role

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy is a 100% employee‑owned, closed‑door pharmacy serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs. Pharmacists work directly with nurses, prescribers, and care teams without a retail counter or drive‑through, allowing for greater use of clinical knowledge and relationship building. LTC experience is not required; training on systems and the model of care will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Verify multidose medication packaging and medication administration records (MARs).
• Provide consultations to nurses, prescribers, and other healthcare providers.
• Complete accurate pharmacy data entry.
• Review medication therapies, interactions, and clinical concerns.
• Administer a variety of injections.
• Participate in medication review committees as needed.
• Work alongside pharmacists and technicians to keep medications accurate and on time.

Requirements

• PharmD degree.
• Active Texas pharmacist license, or ability to obtain one before starting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
